Preperation for a New Life

In all aspects, Spirita was more than just excited. She was ecstatic! She was finally able to do something not among the classic standards of her stupid herd. She was going to be moving… To a place her dark coat was more than welcome. Nyx, her daughter, would also get to see and live with her biological father and his family… Brago…. The mere thought of his name got Spirita excited. The Tall Dark and oh so handsome stag… She craved his presence… He was after all… Her love… Her Life.
But before anything, Spirita needed to prepare for the journey. She needed herbs, lots of em, and she needed to make some bags of sorts to carrying things in. Heading out into the forest she thought quietly to herself, ”Harimau is 2… Phoenix is a year old… They should be okay as long as Feu is there to protect them…. They think he’s their father anyways…” She shook her head, clearing away any sad thoughts that bothered her.
Her ears twitched as she looked around the lively forest. The trees swayed slightly in the breeze and the birds chirped. It was a lovely day, how anyone could hate it she didn’t know. “I’ll miss this..” She said aloud as she continued walking. Looking for wild mint now. She sniffed the air,. The scents of the earthy soil and foliage could fill her nostrils. But also, the spicy scent of mint.
Heading in the direction of the mint she quickly found the herb, trying not to let her mind wander about eating it all now she collected some before heading off to find the next herb. Elderberry. Knowing somewhat about the herb she searched around, looking for the bit of Elderberry she had found weeks earlier. Picking some berries of that she thought of the next thing she needed. Birch Bark. She looked around and spotted the tree. “Perfect!” Running over she pulled some strips of the bark off of the tree she grinned.
She looked around, searching for a patch of Ironweed she huffed, being unable to find one she murmured. ”I’ll talk to an herbalist for that…”.  She smiled, keeping her small collection of herbs to herself she looked around and headed back to the vale. Planning to gather some berries right the day before they leave. That way they have some snacks for the trip. She was beaming as she made her way into the vale. Excited to finally settle down with her family.
